Companies and Intellectual Property Authority (Botswana) (BW-CIPA)

Description

The Companies and Intellectual Property Authority (CIPA) is the official register of businesses in Botwana under the Companies Act (CAP 42:01), which provides for the incorporation of companies and the Registration of Business Names Act (CAP 42:05), which provides for registration of business names and post registration notices such as change of ownership and cessation of businesses.

Both domestic and foreign companies may be registered with the Registrar of Companies.
