Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia (MK-CR)
Description
The Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia is the country's official state register of legal entities. It was established by the Law on Central Registry and serves as a central information base of legal and other organisational data. [1]
The Registry maintains the Trade Register and the Register of Other Legal Entities. The Trade Register covers businesses such as limited liability companies (DOO/DOOEL), joint-stock companies and sole traders. The Register of Other Legal Entities covers non-commercial bodies such as associations, foundations and other civil society organisations.
The EMBS (Единствен матичен број на субјектот) registration number is a 7-digit number assigned electronically by the Central Registry when an entity first registers. It stays the same if the entity changes its address or activity.
