Guinea-Bissau Tax Identification Number (GW-NIF)

Description

The Número de Identificação Fiscal (NIF) is issued by the Direção-Geral das Contribuições e Impostos (DGCI), under the Ministry of Finance of Guinea-Bissau. It identifies taxpayers, including organisations, in the DGCI's fiscal database. NIF identifiers can be used to uniquely identify organisations in open data publications.

Search options

NIF identifiers can be validated through the DGCI's Kontaktu system and associated electronic tax forms. However, no standalone public facility for searching or verifying NIF identifiers has been identified.

The NIF can be found on official fiscal registration documents issued by the Direção-Geral das Contribuições e Impostos (DGCI), or requested directly from the organisation.
